Uli Schneider

Sound engineer and recording producer.

He has a „Tonmeister“ (Music Producer) diploma and instrumental studies (Piano, Double Bass) at the “Hochschule für Musik” Detmold, Germany, and perfected his skills in a year of postgraduate studies in “Sound Recording“ at McGill University Montreal, Canada. Uli Schneider was hired by Sony Music as a recording producer in 1991.

Today he is CEO of usc media concepts GmbH and USC Brasil Produção Musical Ltda., both providing music production services. Clients are artists, as well as record companies, TV stations, film producers, festivals, etc. He produced and recorded albums and TV shows with internationally recognized artists in the music business.

Uli Schneider has worked in various parts of the music world as a recording producer, sound engineer and sometimes as an arranger, working on classical, popular, jazz and film music projects. He recorded soundtracks for Luc Besson's films and worked with artists from the classical world (Kleiber, Abbado, Mehta, Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna, OSESP, etc.), as well as from the popular world (Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Pat Metheny, etc.).

He has lived in Brazil since 2006.
