Active in the 60's. Comprised of sisters [b]Beryl Candy Nelson[/b] and [b]Suzanne Nelson[/b] and their friend [b]Jeanette Johnson[/b]. Discoverd by [a=Jerry Ross]
The single "The 81 / Two Happy People" (1964) was their biggest record, yet failed to crack the Top 40. Candy Nelson retired in 1968 and the group disbanded the following year.

Suzanne Nelson, Candy Nelson, Jeanette Johnson. Suzanne, 18, is a recent graduate of Port Richmond High School in New York. She plans to become a registered nurse. Candy Nelson, 17, sister of Suzanne, is a senior at Port Richmond High School. When not engaging athletics, she sings in the St. Phillips Baptist Church choir where her father is a Deacon. Jeanette Johnson, 18, is also a graduate of Port Richmond High School and is currently attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York on a scholarship.
