E-NRG

Ari Virtanen aka E-NRG has been DJ'ing seriously since the late 90's when he bought a pair of Technics 1200's and spent all his money on vinyl. Since then, he has already played dozens of events in all the major cities of Finland alongside artists like [a=Chris C], [a=DJ Mishka], Proteus, [a=Sasha F], [a=Karri K], RX, [a=Nemes], [a=Re-form], and [a=Alek Szahala].

He started playing dark Hard NRG from artists like [a=Lab 4], [a=Karim], [a=Choci] and [a=Captain Tinrib]. After 2000 he developed his style to be more melodic and emotional, while still keeping the fast pace and hard edged elements in his sets. Currently his sets are influenced by [a=Carbon Based], [a=Alek Szahala], [a=Kevin Energy], [a=Sharkey], [a=DOK], [a=Lost Soul], [a=Re-form], [a=Shanty], [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Casper+(2)]Casper[/url], [a=Lou Cypher Project], etc.

He is now a full member of [a=Carbon Based] and CB Studios in Lahti, where he produces Hard Dance tracks along with some of the above artists.
