Marcello Minerbi

Marcello Minerbi is a singer, composer and arranger born on August 7, 1928 in Genoa, Italy.

He was the leader in Italian vocal trio [a1325471] formed in 1962. They were credited as Los Marcellos Ferial (and in some recordings the name is credited as I Marcellos Ferial) by the Italian label Durium as a response to the music of Latin America and the Caribbean which was then in vogue in Italy. They were popular in their native Italy and broke up in 1968. In the meantime Minerbi had formed his orchestra doing theme songs and hits of the day in his style.

He also composed music and songs for films: Gunman of One Hundred Crosses (1971), Amor en el aire (1967) and Time for Loving (1983).
