The Maisonettes

British pop group fronted by ex-[a=City Boy] singer Lol Mason. They released one album and a couple of singles, having a solid hit with "Heartache Avenue".

The background singers on stage at first were models Elaine Williams and Denise Ward who, however, only lip-synched. By the time of the album's release they had been replaced by Carla Mendonca and Elisa Richards. The real vocalists behind the scenes audible on the songs were [a=Cathy Evans (2)], [a=Sue Smythe] and [a=Kim Pickett] from [a=Proper Little Madams].
