Acarus Sarcopt

Before Acarus Sarcopt there was L'ombre du Saccage created by Remi & Pascal (Koagul) with the participation of Matthieu which joined Asmodée later. During few months, Pascal sang in Asmodée before the release of the "Sequelles" CD.
Acarus Sarcopt was created by Remi & Pascal (Koagul)in 2002 after they ceased activities with their previous project L'ombre du Saccage. The main goal of Acarus Sarcopt is only playing metal from the heritage of Thrash, Death and Black Metal. So they recruited Mathieu (drums) and Mickael (bass). Track "Oppressive Burning Times" was written during this era. In 2003, Serge, originally from Neon Rain (Post Indus/Dark Ambient), Storm of Capricorn (Neoclassic/Dark Folk) and Eostenem (lyrics writer), joined the band as singer. The band started to perform some private shows during one year, at the end of 2004 (October), Raphael & Joachim from Sael recorded the first demo of Acarus Sarcopt.
After opening for Iraven, Samsara, Psygoria (La Rochelle - La Casamance) and Anorexia Nervosa (Angouleme - Mars Attack), the first demo is finally out. So check out Downloads section.
In 2005, Acarus Sarcopt opened for Asmodée and Malleus Maleficarum in a couple of local shows.
2006, the band is working on its second demo and Serge is doing some vocals for SAEL, on their mcd "OCEAN".
In december 2007, Mathieu Charron (Drums) died, hit by a car. The band is on stand-by.
