Trio formed in 1966 by Irish guitarist and songwriter [a=Rory Gallagher] (1948-1995), [a=Eric Kitteringham] (bass) and [a=Norman Damery] (drums) (Eric and Norman were replaced in 1968 by [a=Richard McCracken] and [a=John Wilson (3)]). Taste has recorded three studio albums and two live, including the memorable [i]"Live at the Isle of Wight"[/i] in 1970. In the same year the trio disbanded and Rory Gallagher began a successful career as a soloist.
