Interflow is the brainchild of Brighton based musician Chris Hampshire. An accomplished producer with three labels of his own (Interflow Sounds, Nada Records and D-Stressed), Chris also owns one of the best dance music studios in the South of England.

Whilst his labels have tended to concentrate on the tougher side of trance and the Hard NRG spectrum, Chris started moving into the deep house/progressive sound last year when he met his singer Anna Robinson.

Originally inspired by Eric Powell's Boo/Bush records, Chris produced a couple of instrumental tracks that when combined with Anna's vocals started to form the basis of their new sound. After completing two mixes of a track called "Story Reel" , a business associate recommended Baroque Records, and we are all looking forward to the rest of the story unfolding later this summer, with the double pack release of the single.

Chris has been involved in the dance music scene for longer than he would care to admit releasing his first single in 1996. Originally working with partner and then Zap Club resident John Weatherley, it was the second "Hampshire and Weatherley" single "Breathless" that really started it all off. The single went on to sell over 20000 copies, appearing on countless compilations, and included a remix from the late and much missed producer Tony De Vit.

Before long, Chris was working with the likes of Doug Osborne (Sourmash) and Dave Randall (Chug and Bump Records), bringing his melodic edge to some of the tougher more underground productions of the time.

In just twelve months Chris turned a small writing suite in the corner of his lounge into a state of the art commercial studio that now plays host to some of the leading names across the underground dance music spectrum. These include artists such as Andy Farley, Dave Randall from the harder edge of the scene through to Cajun (Fluid Records) and now of course Baroque on the deeper/progressive tip.

As an artist, Chris is about as prolific as they come, in the last twelve months over 60 of his tracks have either been released as singles or appeared on various dance music compilations. However, Chris is now winding down his harder edge productions, just doing the occasional remixes for his labels in order to concentrate on his trance material (Dream Deluxe - Eve Nova) and working on a vocal follow up to "Story Reel".
