Hedningarna

Hedningarna ("The Heathens" in English) is a Swedish band that brings ancient Nordic music into the modern era. Their world is a place where primitive, brutal folk music collides with sampling and programming. The band was founded by Anders Norudde, Hållbus Totte Mattsson, and Björn Tollin in 1987.

Anders Norudde (credited on early records as Anders Stake) - fiddles, keyed fiddles, bowed harp, Swedish bagpipe, flutes, jews harp, hardanger fiddle. (1987 - present)
Magnus Stinnerbom - viola, hurdy-gurdy. (1999 - present).
Christian Svensson - percussion and sampler. (2000 - present).
