Enid Blyton

British children's author (born 11 August 1897, died 28 November 1968).
Her most famous works include the Famous Five, Secret Seven and Mallory Towers series, and the Noddy stories.
Since her death, some of her works have come to be seen as controversial due to their attitudes toward race, gender and class, though they continue to sell well.
