The Fontane Sisters

The Fontane Sisters were a trio (Bea, Geri and Marge Rosse) from New Milford (New Jersey) who performed and recorded in the years 1941-1961. Toward the beginning part of their career, the trio sang backup vocals for [a27516] and were regular guests on his radio and television shows. The group chose the name Fontane after the french surname "Fontaine" of the great-grandmother of French-Canadian descent.
