Lisa Michaelis

Actress, children's performer, musician and singer born in New York City and lived in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the founder of Laughing Pizza Productions, a children's record and video label. She competed on Star Search and performed on Broadway. Lisa Michaelis was an accomplished songwriter for child performers and Dance acts, most notable "Rainfalls" which she co-wrote and performed with Frankie Knuckles. The track was a number one single on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1992.
Lisa Michaelis died on November 29, 2015 from breast cancer.
