Rapple Records was a boutique one-shot label that was a portmanteau of RCA Records and the Beatles’ Apple Records because RCA would not let Harry Nilsson release the soundtrack of “Son of Dracula” on Apple Corps Ltd., which produced the movie of the same name. The label’s design featured Nipper the dog as a vampire taking a bite out of an apple.
