In most cases there should be three different editions of the releases: the initial edition without barcode on the back cover, a second edition with barcode on back cover, and a third edition with an additional slip case with a photo cover. There mostly are also matrix differences between the editions (different production date at the end of the matrix number, e.g. "12-93").
