Launched in the early 1980s after the success of The Nice Price / A Joli Prix. Mainly a reissue series but some greatest hits packages and budget albums were also first released as Right Price / Bon Prix.
CBS Canada used a V prefix added to the start of the original catalog number when reissuing. Cover artwork and label type settings look very similar. On some vinyl reissues only the catalog number on the spine was changed while the original catalog number remained the same as the original on back/front covers and labels.
