- A brand adapted from the 1948 childrens songbook by Danish music teacher and choir leader Gunnar Nyborg-Jensen. The book became very popular and is included in the official list of Danish cultural heritage.
As a choir Gunnar Nyborg-Jensen Og Hans Syngende Piger Og Drenge recorded various recordings in the 1950's and 1960's, repackaged in the 1970's in the Børnene Synger series.
In 1998, the 50th anniversary of the songbook, it was reissued anf followed by the release of new recordings with current childrens choirs from Sankt Annæ Gymnasium.
The illustration by Bitte Bøcher on the original songbook have also been used on original records and on the anniversary re-branding. The illustration is so iconic in Danish music it has even been caricatured on release and a songbook for the elderly, "De Grå Synger".
