- The Furnace Room was an independent DIY cassette label from Ohio, USA, and active from the mid-80's until the early-90's.
The Furnace Room specialized in self-producing limited edition, DIY cassette releases from underground Christian musicians.
Most (but not all) of the acts they released are also from Ohio. They also released tapes from British artist Jason Underground.
The Furnace Room has released music from a wide-variety of different genres, including Hard Rock, Folk, Heavy Metal, Electronic Music, Thrash Metal, Garage Rock, Non-Music/Spoken Word/Comedy, and likely many more.
