- dead ceo started in 1999 as a tiny record label to release media/art objects that resisted the limitations of distribution economics. For a number of years, the web site also served as a distributor for like-minded projects. After some time, it more or less became a vanity label for Woody Sullender.
The current shifts in music distribution are both exciting and frustrating for artists, labels, distributors, etc. and we must expect radical changes coming in the next decade.
With that said, there are plans for a number of curious vinyl releases for late 2009. Thanks to all who have supported these endeavors!
