Studio (formerly a boathouse) in London, England, UK, situated on the south-west bank of the River Thames at Ranelagh Drive by Twickenham Bridge, owned by Pete Townshend.
In 1975, Pete Townshend bought The Boathouse (see Boathouse Studios) that became home of Eel Pie Sound and Oceanic Studios, Twickenham.
As from September 1981, the studios became known as Eel Pie Studios, as they were rebuilt and run as a commercial operation and were the location for a number of rock and pop recordings.
In 1989, part of the upstairs of the building was taken over by Cocteau Twins and set up as September Sound studios.
Pete Townshend sold the property in 2008.
