Series introduced by GRP and MCA Records in 1991, covering Impulse! and Decca's jazz back-catalogue. The initial release of Impulse! titles in the US was scheduled for 21st May 1991, with Decca titles scheduled for June the same year.
Initially, Michael Cuscuna and Orrin Keepnews were brought in to produce the Impulse! and Decca releases respectively.
