A series by Deutsche Grammophon featuring select recordings of Herbert von Karajan.
The vinyl version was released in 1982. The series contains 50 LPs and was also issued in two box sets with 25 LPs each (Vol. 1 [url=https://www.discogs.com/Berliner-Philharmoniker-Herbert-von-Karajan-Karajan-Edition-100-Meisterwerke-Serie-Galerie-Vol1/release/16148945]"2720 111"] and Vol. 2 [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/22153876-Berliner-Philharmoniker-Herbert-von-Karajan-Karajan-Edition-100-Meisterwerke-Vol2]"2720 112"]).
The CD version was first released in 1988 to celebrate Karajan's 80th birthday. The series contains 25 CDs and was also issued as a box set that contains all the CDs.
