- Piehead Records 2002 Limited Edition Series was the inaugural subscription-based monthly mailorder series launched in March 2002 by a Canadian label Piehead Records. Each release, a full-length album by a different artist, was limited to 311 copies on professionally pressed CD-Rs with on-disc printing and full-color covers. The 2002 Series artwork depicted various types of pies. Individual albums were available for sale without a subscription; however, the final edition, release compilation of exclusive tracks from all 11 artists, was only available to listeners who purchased the entire series, Piehead friends, and participating musicians.
