- Strange Fish is an independent British record label based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, England with a specialty of vinyl-only releases of experimental and genre-bending psychedelic, progressive rock, acid folk, krautrock, space rock and ambient.
The record label was founded in 2013 by Keith Jones (29) as an imprint of his primary record label Fruits De Mer Records. The purpose of the new imprint was to release bands and artists whose genres went beyond what Fruits De Mer Records and Regal Crabomophone normally released; mainly more experimental or hard-to-categorize artists.
Releases on Strange Fish have the words "strange fish" preceding the catalog numbers.
