- Series introduced by EMI in 1990 to issue recordings from their extensive archive of British comedy. Most releases were on the double cassette format, the dominant format for spoken word titles at the time (as popularised by the BBC Radio Collection series launched in 1988), but some of the more popular titles were also issued on double CDs. Most of the material in this series appeared on the later series EMI Comedy.
