- "Golden Record" is a compilation series marketed and distributed by [L=Pathé Marconi EMI] and EMI Belgium during the 1970's.
The cassette equivalent of this series can be found here: Golden Cassette (2).
The first two characters of the catalog # represent the EMI country code. These EMI country codes were used to identify the country in which the record was marketed. Note: this doesn't necessarily mean that the release was also manufactured in that country.
