- Japanese Blue Note reissue series issued in two distinct parts.
The 1987 releases have a dark blue obi with a dark blue logo. (The obi is the full height of the jewel case and has rounded corners.)
Issued in five batches of ten titles from July 22 (CP32-9501~9510) through November 25 (CP32-9541~9550).
The series is numbered on the back of the traycard, where all track information is in Japanese.
The 1989 releases have a similar but lighter dark blue obi with a red logo. (The obi is the height of the booklet with sharp corners.)
Issued in five batches of ten titles from May 31 (CJ28-5101~5110) through December 6 (CJ28-5141~5150).
The series is not numbered. Traycard track information is in English.
NB: The similarly named Blue Note CD Treasury 2800 series was issued between the above two series.
