This is a unique test pressing of the 1st UK edition, housed in a typographic proof of the sleeve with handwritten corrections in Eno's handwriting. Its labels are standard PRS big-1/big-2 generic test pressing labels (without 'test pressing' specified), and its runout matrices are earliest variants of those found on the released first issue [r=2408445].
The sleeve is printed on one side, without glue flaps, and folded, gatefold style. Handwritten corrections appear on both the back cover and the inside plain-card surface. Additional notes have been taken in different handwriting on the inner sleeve, along with a fountain pen drawing of Eno's three-speaker "ambient speaker system" later described on the sleeve of On Land (1982). The drawing is likely Eno's but it's impossible to be sure. The inner sleeve handwriting details the title differences between this version and an earlier acetate.
This '1 1 1' pressing was presumably delivered to Eno in the proof sleeve at some late stage prior to production, and returned to EG with corrections and notes, almost all of which appear in type on the released sleeves. This is a rough draft, clearly not intended to be seen by anyone but the design, production and/or label people.
