January 1987 Andrew Lloyd Webber Note: This recording contains all of the principal musical material of The Phantom of the Opera. Some cuts have been made to accommodate available space on record, but they have not affected the main body of music. The full libretto (including spoken dialogue and the sequences that have been cut) is contained in this booklet. I should like to record my particular debt to David Caddick, my production musical director. Also my thanks to Mike Reed our conductor and to the Phantom orchestra.
