This release utilizes the 1970 "remix" (first appearing on Buddah BDS-5063), which was essentially the 1967 stereo mix with one channel out of phase to narrow the stereo image. One suspects that the master developed some problems over the course of three years, as (for example) there's a dropout at 2:18 on "I'm Glad" that does not appear on the 1967 stereo LP but turns up on the 1999 Buddha CD, which presents the stereo mix as originally intended.
The 1970 LP also had a glitch at the beginning of "Abba Zabba", where the first second is separated from the rest of the track by a number of seconds. That first second is absent altogether on this CD.
