  • "Dead Voices on Air (DVOA) - главный музыкальный проект Марка Спайби. Он был основан в 1992 году, когда он эмигрировал в Канаду из родной Англии. Используя импровизацию и наложение звука как источник для своей музыки, DVOA смешивает обработанный звук примитивных инструментов и игрушек в ритмические структуры или темные кластеры амбиентного звука. Результат - музыка для глаз. Это не амбиентный чилл-аут, и это не музыка для обоев. Это органическая, эклектичная импровизация, нарезанная и выплюнутая. Либо оформленная в короткие музыкальные куски, либо грубые блоки шума. Панамбиенс - термин, который, возможно, наиболее адекватно формулирует этот подход. Спайби в течение многих лет активно сотрудничал с рядом людей, многие из которых появляются на его релизах."
