  She started working at Sweden Music & Polar in September 1969. After a while, she became Stig Anderson's secretary and later on acquired the title of Vice President of Polar Music International AB.
  
  ABBA recorded the song "Sång till Görel", as a tribute to Görel at her 30th birthday in 1979. She was a part of the crowd on the "Super Trouper" album cover and has for the group also participated in crowd scenes of promotional films.
