• Early 80's Danish rockband fronted by vocalist Frede Norbrink and involving several musicians from the Gasolin' and Kim Larsen environment, e.g. Wili Jønsson, Thomas Grue and Bjørn Uglebjerg. Founded 1979 as a follow up to Frede Norbrink, Jan Ettrup and Jesper Agerschous band Albuen. By the 2nd album in 1982 Grue had been replaced by Steen Svare and Klaus Agerschou was new on keyboards. By the 3rd album in 1983 Svare and Uglebjerg had left and Jens Breum took over on drums.
  From 1985 and on Frede Norbrink goes solo, but the band tours 1987 to 1989 and does not officially disband until 1993.
  In 2001 a new Frede Fup was with Norbrink (Vocals), Peter Domtorp (Guitar), Trond Clements (Saxophone, Keyboards), Flemming Muus (Bass) and Hans Fagt (Drums).That line-up released a single CD in 2001 just about the time of release, Scandinavian Records went bankrupt and only half the copies reached the shops.
  In 2022 the band consists of Frede Norbrink (vocals), Jesper Agerschou (keyboards), Flemming Muus (bass), Mitch Fischermann (drums) and Birgitte Bjørn (guitar)
