• An American songwriter, producer, radio personality, music promoter, and label executive. Born December 13,1927 in Chicago, Illinois and died December 08, 2013, he co-founded the Minit label at the end of the 1950s and later was involved with the Colsoul label during the 1960s. He also worked as a radio disc jockey in New Orleans, Louisiana and was the voice of the New Orleans Jazz Fest and Heritage Festival. He was married to the artist Margie Joseph, who he also managed.
