В оригинальный состав группы входил Neil Sedaka, но настоящий большой успех пришел, когда Медресс снова собрал группу в 1960 году с братьями Филом и Митчем Марго и ведущим вокалистом Jay Siegel. К 1967 году они выпустили девять записей, попавших в чарты (включая хитом номер один 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight'), а также написали, продюсировали и исполнили буквально сотни записей.
