Eddie Robinson

US singer, songwriter, musician, producer from Detroit, MI. Died in Detroit on April 25, 2014.
Perhaps the most traveled artist in the gospel field. Japan, Africa, Germany, Finland, you name the country and chances are Robinson had performed there. Robinson was a cast member of "Hair," the "tribal love rock musical" then being presented at the Vestpocket Theatre on W. Grand River. That was in the early 1970s. Shortly thereafter he was on the national charts with a message song entitled "Hey Blackman".
