Korean boy-band, led by [a=Seo Taiji] and formed in September 1991. Debuting in March 1992 with the song "난 알아요" (I Know), the band became highly successful, releasing 4 albums and 1 EP that were reported to be sold in millions of copies. Its members were aforementioned Seo Taiji, [a=Yang Hyun Suk] and [a=Lee Juno].
Taijiboys are credited with changing the South Korean music industry by pioneering the use of rap and mixing of different genres in Korean popular music and also for utilizing social critique, despite pressure from ethics and censorship committees.
They won the Grand Prize at the Seoul Music Awards in both 1992 and 1993. The group disbanded on January 31, 1996.
