SNAFU (Situation Normal All Fucked Up) is a hard as fuck, in your face, combination of thrash punk and hardcore that’s sure to get you hyped. Never giving less than 110% at every show, SNAFU is known for their intense live performance on stage, and chilled laid back demeanor off stage. Inspired by the depraved modern society that they were born into, their songs are the very definition of “Pissed”. Not being held down by the destructive nature of mankind, SNAFU is still partying and making the best of this hopeless situation.
The band originally formed sometime back in 2004, rocked the local scene for a few years, put out an untitled 6 song EP and then split up. After a two and a half year hiatus and the putrid condition of the world only accelerating, Scott and Steve-E decided enough was enough so they rounded up Mickey on bass and John on drums. For being back on the Detroit scene for just over year now SNAFU has been hitting it harder than ever. They have shared the stage with noted national acts such as: Star Fucking Hipsters, The Casualties, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Common Enemy, Koffin Kats, Authority Zero, Hellmouth and Time Again. SNAFU has recently released EP entitled “Sick as Shit” and is already working on another EP, due to be released this spring.
After completely thrashing out the entire southeastern portion of the mitten this past year SNAFU is ready expand their party across the country. So keep your eyes/ears pealed for a SNAFU show in your town but watch out, they’ll fuck your mom, eat all your pizza, and smoke all your weed. If you ever get the opportunity to party with these dudes don’t pass it up because “aint no party like a SNAFU party cause a SNAFU party don’t stop”.
