In 1983 she tried to re-boot her career with a double cover of [a=Holland-Dozier-Holland]'s [url=http://www.discogs.com/Deborah-Washington-Nothing-But-Heartaches-Nowhere-To-Run/release/1345763]"Nothing But Heartaches / Nowhere To Run"[/url], originally hits by [a=Supremes] and [a=Martha Reeves & The Vandellas] respectively (both in 1965) but the disco mania had already gone and she failed to impress the audiences.
