  Her work has spread internationally and is performed not only around Europe but also in America and Asia.
  
  Leilei Tian is educated in Beijing and for Ole Lützow-Holm in Gothenburg, Sweden and now operates in Paris and Rome.
  
  Leilei Tian has received many awards, such as in Besançon (for orchestral works, in 2000), Citta 'di Udine (contemporary music, in 2002), in Bourges (for electronic music, in 2005) and Järnåkerstipendiet (chamber music, in 2013). As a Roman laureate, nominated by the French Academy, she was awarded a stay at Villa Medici 2012-13. Leilei Tian was elected to the Swedish Composers' Association in 2003.
