• Brother of David DeFeis and Doreen De Feis, played with future Kiss drummer Eric Carr in Creation (18). Died in the notorious Gulliver's nightclub fire on 30 June 1974 in Port Chester, NY. In this tragedy which affected national fire code regulations, 24 people died when a fire adjacent to the club on the NY/CT border filled the recessed dance floor and stage with smoke within seconds, and the nightclub did not have sprinklers or fire detection equipment.
