- Trutone was an American company that offered audio mastering and manufacturing services. The company was originally founded by Carl Rowatti and Adrianne Rowatti in 1971 as Trutone Records and was primarily involved in vinyl cutting, before expanding its scope.
Please note that Trutone appears to have acted as a manufacturing broker rather than an in-house manufacturer for CDs/DVDs, so please do not use the Glass Mastered At or Pressed By role in LCCN. When there is a role given in the matrix follow that, otherwise the Manufactured By role can be used.
In August 2008, the company was acquired by fellow manufacturing broker Sound Performance.
