Not to be confounded with the annual Chicago Blues Festival which is held in the City of Chicago, Illinois, US.
Didier Tricard took over the organising and promoting from 1977. Since 2013 it is organised by Guillaume Tricard, owner and artistic director of Boom Boom Productions in Paris, France.
Other notable collaborators include Jean-Pierre Vignola, Jacques Morgantini and Jean-Pierre Tahmazian.
