American recording and mixing studio, opened in summer 1973. Currently owned by Bogalusa-native Debra Farmer. It is located in Washington Parish, Louisiana, approximately three miles north of Bogalusa.
The studio was originally conceived and owned by recording engineer Bill Evans (5). It was designed by Tom Hidley, George Augspurger (an audio/acoustic engineer) and Evans. In 1980 the studio was sold to Gene Foster. Foster sold to the studio to Debra Farmer in 1997, while he continued working there. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina did major damage to the studio, and it needed to be restored. The studio reopened in fall 2007.
