AudioGraphic MasterWorks is a CD & DVD mastering service and manufacturing facility, graphic design studio and recording studio located in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. It offers short-run duplication, high-volume replication, graphic design, audio mastering and occasionally audio recording services. It was founded in October of 1995 under the name Audio MasterWorks, Memphis by mastering engineer and graphic designer Jeff Speight. In September of 1997, Audio MasterWorks graphic designer employee Brandon Seavers and his business partner, musician, audio producer and record label owner Mark Yoshida, bought out the company and renamed it "AudioGraphic MasterWorks". Seavers and Yoshida had previously founded a record label, Rockingchair Records, and a music production company, Rockingchair Productions, in December of 1994. Seavers and Yoshida had played together in the Six Million Dollar Band. In addition to this, Yoshida had founded the recording studio, Rockingchair Studios in 1989. After the buyout of Audio MasterWorks, all three Rockingchair companies were headquartered at the new facility. Because of this, the recording sessions recorded at AudioGraphic MasterWorks are sometimes credited as Rockingchair Studios, other times as AudioGraphic Masterworks Recording. In 2014, Seavers and Yoshida opened the vinyl manufacturing company, Memphis Record Pressing.
Mastering SID is usually written in very small characters on AGMW's CDs and requires a magnifying glass to decipher. Do not confuse with their Mould SID, which often begins with an L.
The acronym of AGMW is also used in the matrix of CD's, either as text and/or in logo format. It may look like AGMVV.
