- Soviet/Russian label founded by Александр Кутиков in 1987.
Until the dissolution of the USSR in 1991 the label was active under the cooperative of Sintez Corporation. After Latvia became an independent state, Sintez Corporation signed the label to its founder Александр Кутиков who registered it officially in the Russian Federation in August 1992. Since then up to this day it acts indepentently on its own.
In Soviet times Sintez Records worked closely with Рижский Завод Грампластинок pressing their records. After the dissolution of the USSR the label kept the business relation with the pressing plant, which renamed in 1992 to RiTonis in the now independent Latvia.
