US soul label founded by Herb Shucher in 1962 in Nashville, TN Shucher's partner, the producer Finley Duncan, purchased the label in 1965, and moved the operation to Valparaiso, Florida. Finley also founded the publishing company Chu-Fin Music, Inc. as well as Playground Studios, Valparaiso, Florida. Shelby S Singleton Jr.'s SSS International organization purchased the label in 1967. In 1968 the company's label design was updated to be 4-colored, in order to foil counterfeiters.
Omnivore Recordings released a compilation release in 2013 that compiled the label's releases.
