- European mid-price LP reissue catalogue of WEA International Inc., launched and advertised in this form around 1985. Releases included in this series were mostly issued with a yellow removable 'Exclamation mark'-sticker on the cover front which often showed additional blurbs depending on market and language. 1970s extra features of the original release like gatefold covers or printed inner sleeves were often reduced.
Many of these releases contained 'WEA Top 30' advertising inlays (cf. image) with serial number 6 000 000.
For WEA Musik GmbH releases within this program the typical price code for Germany was Ⓖ, the code for France was WE 321.
Initially Ⓖ appeared also in combination with French regular price code WE 361 as well as German regular price code Ⓤ with WE 321. This seems to indicate that the release was marketed mid-priced in Germany and at regular price in France (and vice-versa).
These price codes are usually located in the upper right corner of the cover rear.
With a few exceptions the catalogue number prefix on the centre labels of these editions was 'K' (not e.g. 'ATL', 'ELK' or 'WB' anymore).
