Label started in the early 1960s by Dallas, Texas insurance salesman John Howard Abdnor, Sr., the father of Jon Abdnor of Jon & Robin. The Five Americans were the label's biggest act (their first album was leased to Hanna-Barbera Records for national release; the lone album by Michael Rabon and Choctaw, featuring two former members of the Five Americans [and the company's final release] was leased to UNI Records for distribution). The label folded in 1971. The elder Abdnor sold the label's masters to Sundazed Music in the late 1990s.
