Summary:
In December 2005, Memory-Tech Corporation acquired Toshiba EMI Ltd's Gotemba factory in the form of a divestiture and sale of its manufacturing division, and established a new company, Toemi Media Solutions.
In April 2006, the company acquired the optical disc business from Sanyo Mavic-Media Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sanyo Electric (the company itself was acquired by BMB, a major karaoke company).
In December 2007, Toemi Media Solutions Tokyo Office became an independent company and established Toemi Media Co.
On July 1, 2008, the Gotemba Plant of Toemi Media Solutions and the Fuji Plant of Memory-Tech merged to form a new company, Media Logitec Corporation.
On April 1, 2015, Media Logitec, Inc. was merged into Memory-Tech Corporation and dissolved.
