MBO Group

- MBO (short for Music Business Organisation) Group is a co-operation between several Nordic labels and companies in the music and entertainment industry, partly owned by Nordisk Film (a division of Egmont).
It was founded in 2004 by Michael Ritto and Benny Bach. In 2006 half of the shares was sold to Nordisk Film, where Ritto became the director. In 2008 Ritto left Nordisk Film and acquired the majority stake from Bach, and once again became the director of MBO. In September 2011 MBO was acquired by Universal, who took over the following labels: Copenhagen Records, RecArt Music, and A:larm Music.
Company name: MBO Group A/S, existing between March 2005 en August 2011.
